Weddings at Egton
A rare landscape, reserved just for you.
Egton Estate is internationally protected because of its beautifully rare and invaluable ecosystem. Because of this unique setting and our work to conserve it, we host only a select number of weddings each year. This means your day feels feels truly personal and never part of a wedding production line. With exclusive use of the Manor and its grounds for the weekend, you can prepare at your own pace, enjoy complete privacy, and welcome your guests as if it were your own country home.
We're Flexible
Enjoy the freedom to use Egton as you wish to bring your day to life in your own way. There are a variety of enchanting spaces across the house and gardens for your ceremony, reception, and wedding breakfast; for intimate ceremonies or grand celebrations. And we’re relaxed as to how you use them.
Our dedicated coordinator will work closely with you to understand your vision and help bring your dream day to life at Egton.

Ceremonies
Religious or non-religious, we’re licensed to host and warmly welcome all types of nuptials. For couples seeking a traditional church ceremony, Egton offers two beautiful Grade II listed churches—both within walking distance of the Manor.
St Hedda’s Catholic Church, located just opposite Egton Manor, and St Hilda’s Church of England, the Egton Estate’s family church set within the grounds. Both churches can accommodate up to 160 guests.

The Drawing Room
The Drawing room welcomes guests into a space of real splendour. A grand piano occupies the corner, and the room enjoys views out onto the gardens.
The Covered Courtyard
During the Summer season we extend our reception spaces into the covered courtyard which leads directly onto the beautiful and extensive riverside gardens.
The Garden Hall
The light and welcoming entrance hall is often used as a reception space for winter weddings.
